SCOTT WOLTER

Scott F. Wolter is a forensic geologist, author, and television host whose work bridges science, history, and mystery. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Geology and Earth Science from the University of Minnesota–Duluth and has worked professionally as a petrographer since 1985. In 1990, he founded American Petrographic Services, where he continues to serve as president.

Over his career, Scott has been the principal petrographer on more than 7,000 material forensic investigations worldwide, including the analysis of fire-damaged concrete from the Pentagon following the September 11 attacks.

He is best known as the host of the television series America Unearthed, where he investigates historical artifacts, ancient symbols, and controversial archaeological discoveries across North America. Scott is also the author of several books exploring hidden aspects of history, including The Hooked X: Key to the Secret History of North America and Akhenaten to the Founding Fathers: The Mysteries of the Hooked X.

Based in Minnesota, Scott combines scientific expertise with a passion for exploring humanity’s untold stories. Through his research, writing, and on-screen work, he encourages audiences to question established narratives and look deeper into the mysteries of the past.
