Marguirtie Rigoglioso

Marguerite Rigoglioso, Ph.D., is a scholar, teacher and explorer of the sacred feminine, the ancient mystery traditions and the hidden currents of spiritual power. She is the founding director of the Seven Sisters Mystery School, where she offers live and online mentoring and courses for women and men seeking initiation into mythic wisdom and transformational practices.

With a background in the religious history of the ancient Mediterranean world, Rigoglioso has authored pioneering books such as The Cult of Divine Birth in Ancient Greece and Virgin Mother Goddesses of Antiquity, in which she revisits the role of women, oracles and goddess-figures in cultural traditions often told from patriarchal perspectives.

Over her career she has taught at institutions including the California Institute of Integral Studies, Sofia University, and Dominican University of California, and has served as a speaker at major conferences worldwide. Her work blends rigorous scholarship with personal ceremonial practice, intuitive study and spiritual mentorship. Living in western Massachusetts, Marguerite continues to lead others in recovering the sacred feminine as living tradition, not just a topic of academic inquiry.
